Helpful Information & Tips

Affordability varies from family to family, but it doesn’t have to prevent your child from attending a beautiful, intimate and high-quality service

We personally assist all families in understanding, applying and keeping track of all Child Care Subsidy (CCS) eligibilities. Our goal is to welcome every child into a centre that promotes excellence, family values, engagement and the place and maximum growth, learning and individual wellbeing.

The CCS is financial assistance provided by the Commonwealth Government to approved child care centres, family day care schemes, registered carers, outside school hour’s programs and occasional care services. This subsidy is ‘means tested’ and managed by the Family Assistance Office (FAO).

If you receive approval for CCS, you’ll pay less out-of-pocket for child care fees. On top of that we will look at each family as individually and use our flexible hour fee scheme to ensure that each and every one receives the maximum CCS cover possible. That means- less fees for families each week.

Basic Eligibility for Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

To be eligible for the Child Care Subsidy the following requirements must be met:

The Child Must:

  • be a ‘Family Tax Benefit’ child or ‘regular child care’ and
  • be 13 years or under and not attending secondary school and
  • meets immunisation requirements

The person claiming the Child Care Subsidy, or their partner, must

  • meet the residency requirements and
  • meet the Child Care Subsidy activity test ( or be eligible for an exemption) and
  • be liable to pay for the care provided under a Complying Written Arrangement (their written agreement) with their child care provider

Application Process

To see if you qualify for fee assistance, complete the following:

Is your responsibility to apply for the CCS with the Family Assistance Office on 136 150. Once CCS is approved, you will need to provide the Centre with your Customer Reference Number (CRN) and date of birth (DOB) along with your child’s CRN and DOB so a formal enrolment can be made. Your subsidy will then be subtracted from the full fees owing, leaving a gap fee which is the amount families pay to the Centre, meaning less out of pocket expense.
